The incident has highlighted concerns over security at the stadium, with questions being asked as to how an item such as this was missed when the fans entered through security checkpoints.

A statement issued by FIFA said: “We noticed this incident once and immediately asked the stadium security to look into the matter.

“According to the information that we have at this time, the incident only occurred once. Also at the time of writing, we have not received any comments from any of the teams.”

The number one thing that is getting on my nerves at the moment is those stupid adverts asking me to “Cash my Gold” or whatever other annoying catchphrase they come up with to con me out of my hard earned gold.

Everything about it annoys me – The unbelievably lame “real people” that say “cash my gold” when some supposed expert values their gold at 20p, the fact that cheesy TV ‘personalities’ like Dale Winton are making money out of appearing from adverts and just the simple fact that they are ripping people off by extremely undervaluing their gold.

I just dont understand why anyone would use these companies. Yes, there may be a recession and yes you may be short of money but surely there are better ways of getting it than selling your watch for a fraction of its real value? It essentially amounts to stealing and yet people are still using the companies.

This is why it brightened my day considerably last week when I was walking through a shopping centre in Huddersfield and I saw one of their salesmen slumped in his seat, head in hands, looking quite depressed at the fact that no-one in sight was cashing their gold. It was really heartwarming!
